Become an Earth Hero volunteer

Description

Climate change is no longer on the horizon. It is happening now. Take the next step and become part of a movement you already care about. If you have used Earth Hero regularly and made progress, you might enjoy helping others do the same.

Join the global volunteer team, helping hundreds of thousands of people across 150+ countries take practical climate action. Volunteers contribute in many ways, including content creation, marketing, software development, design, translation, research, and project management.

If you can contribute about 20 hours per month for at least six months, visit Get Involved to explore current opportunities and send the team a message of interest.

Tips

• Consider which of your existing skills you would most enjoy contributing or which skills you would like to develop.

• Think hard about whether you can make the time for Earth Hero. It is challenging for new volunteers to create the habit of focusing on Earth Hero. Helping out is very flexible, but if you cannot think of a regular day and time to sit down to work, it may be a sign you do not have time for it.

• If you join the team, expect to roll up your sleeves and get working on a practical project sooner rather than later. Doing is a great way to speed up the learning curve.
